About what are the best places $$$ to work in San Antonio, TX without a college degree

What are the best places $$$ to work in San Antonio, TX without a college degree?
II am trying to do my homework for a move to San Antonio, TX in about 1 year. I come from a background of 10+ years of clerical experience (insurance, hr, customer service, sales, legal & mortgage, but I didn't finish college, which I know works against me. I need to make atleast $40-45K, annually. What places should I apply to in San Antonio or the surrounding areas for this type of money or close to it. I have lived in FL for about 10 years and that is the kind of $$ I am accustomed to. Please advise. Thank you. Ok then, so who are the top 5 employers in town? Like here we have Verizon, USF, HSBC, Tampa International, & HSN.....Please tell me some places that are well known....

no college degee.. work in a strip club. You can make over 200k a year..and be in the best shape of your life, my 2 cents

If you are accustomed to making $40-45k without a degree, and want to continue doing the same I don't suggest moving to San Antonio. All the jobs you listed that you have experience doing will make you from $8-12 per hour. I have a BS and I only make $32k. I don't know what part of FL you lived in so I can't compare cost of living, but the COL here in SA is low compared to a lot of the country. So even though you're not making as much, your spending less on day to day expenses. Edit: Some of the top employers include Rackspace, USAA and AT&T. There are a lot of call centers down here: QVC, Travelocity, HarlandClarke. Medical is a big big employer here as well as the millitary.

I agree with the answer above. Our pay scale is reflected in our low cost of living. There are college grads that don't have starting salaries that high. But we do have some of the lowest fuel prices in the country and our Mexican Food is the best in the world! Good Luck

Retired military personnel working in San Antonio want to supplement their retirement income and Hispanic people also settle for a lower income than most people do. San Antonio is a city with both groups in abundance. Do not expect to find many job openings that will pay the salary that you seek.
