If you are into fitness or would like to get into shape, you might want to look into becoming an independent Beachbody coach. This is a real opportunity. I actually do it myself, and I love it. It's fun, challenging, and it involves effort. It's not a get rich quick scheme, because you won't make instant money. But you can start earning money in about a month or so as you build your business. E-mail me at coachveronicam@yahoo.com if you want more information about this opportunity!

It was mentioned before, but there are sites that do pay you to do surveys. You could also consider a direct selling job, something like Avon or Tupperware. There are tons of choices with that. You could also consider watching a couple of children at home. Good luck!

Marlene, I currently work from home full time or (About 1hr per day) raise 2 kids, and enjoy life the other 23 hours of my day. I run a business with my cell phone and my laptop. I can take my business in the car, on a bus, on a plane, across country or across the world. I basically save the lives of children who are starving around the world. And yes I get paid to do it. I think I have found one of the best home businesses around. But, what I do is not for everyone. Your invited to take a look. If it's not for you, then that's O.K. I appreciate you having an open mind about it and wish you luck on your search.

Yes. Texas law allows you to work up to 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week. (One day off is required.) The fact that it is legal, however, doesn't mean that anyone will hire you, especially in this economy. At 15, you are competing for the same jobs as kids who are 16, 17, 18 and even older. Employers would generally prefer to hire older kids, because they assume they are more responsible. There are also fewer restrictions on the times of day that older kids can work. (There are some restrictions on hours during the school week for you.) One place you can try is a supermarket. Some supermarkets hire younger kids as baggers and cart-wranglers. Here again, you may be competing against older kids, but it is worth a shot. Good luck!!

Go to nearest office of Workforce Alamo (Texas Workforce) and ask for an Age of Consent form. Have one of your parents fill it out and sign it,then send it to the address at the top of the form. This is an application for a Work Permit. You will need to leave a photo copy of this with each and every place you apply to. Because of your age, fast food is a good place to start. Once you turn sixteen, you won't need the permit any longer. Keep in mind that due to your age,you can only work four hours a day.

Are you Exhausted working online and not getting paid for your hard work? Well Even I was fed up with such online works until I saw this site. They really do pay for the surveys. It is very easy. Just take a look and you will not regret it. http://www.bestoffersdigger.com/featured/top-paid-survey-websites-for-usa
4 :
Legally you can although some places will not hire a 15 year old. So it really comes down to the individual employer. Ask that question about whether or not they will consider you, as a fifteen year old, before you go to the time and trouble to fill out an application.

About decent work pay in San Antonio

Decent work pay in San Antonio?
My bf didn't plan too well when we moved from FL to TX and now we have realized that to not lose our cars and have a place to live, we have to make $23/hour between the two of us. He is a chef; two year degree in culinary arts but has been out of the cooking industry for about 6 years. He's done private cooking on the side but worked in clerical-type jobs around $12/hour back home. He's 36, hispanic, if that matters for the San Antonio area... Me, I'm 25 and have no degree yet; I've worked in tons of fast food, and in the past three to four years worked as a collector for debt, and then in call centers for Verizon DSL and Progressive Auto Insurance. Last wage was $13.10/hour So. Companies that might have similar pay to what we're used to? Opportunities from home to make extra money? (NOT our own business, but anything legal that will give extra cash??) I'm willing to work hard to not lose my transport or home, but need help finding as I'm new here! THANK YOU!!!

Tell him to apply for a job as a personal chef working in one of the mansions at the Dominion! A lot of the SA SPURS Basketball players and local celebrities, millionaires live there!

If you have call center experience, you can try travelocity, american express , west and AT&T, i woked for travelocity and payd about 14$/hour, but I think they have changed some things, also you can try sirius computer solutions, located accross the stree from north star mall. Thats what i can think of the top of my head. Good Luck!

I live in San Antonio. You have to consider the fact that although you may get paid less, the cost of living here is less than the national average (like gas for us is about 10-15 cents cheaper than the national average). You may end up spending less on car insurance, food, rent, etc. And of course where in the city you choose to live will make a difference also.

Just in case no one ever said this; WELCOME TO SAN ANTONIO!!! Ok,now go to this web site: www.workintexas.com Click on "Register As Job Seeker". Both of you are going to register with the State of Texas so employers all over the state can see your resume`s. Fill in all your personal info, address, email address, phone number(s),education level, all training, diplomas, degrees, permits, licenses, and past work history with names and address. Please include a small sentence or two as to what your duties were on each of those jobs. The computer is not only helping you build a resume`,but it is using key words so employers will make job offers. When you are in your Work In Texas main page, you'll see a list of employers in a column on the right hand side who will be coming to the different branch offices of Workforce Solutions-Alamo to do recruiting.

About community kiln in San Antonio, Texas

Community kiln in San Antonio, Texas?
I don't have nearly enough money to spend on a kiln or the energy used to power one. I'd try my hand at Raku pottery, but I doubt my home owner's association would be thrilled about me making a fire pit in my yard. Does anyone know where I can find a place to fire my clay works in San Antonio?

What is that school in the old Ursuline Convent School -- Southwest Crafts Institute? They have a good ceramics program. You could contact the dept. head there, and tell him/her that you're very keen on ceramics, but don't have money. Could you exchange work for classes or firings? There's always chores to be done in ceramics -- mixing glazes, cleaning up, etc. Most students are adults and probably don't want to do menial chores. It's also a good way to learn the craft.
