I am a 57 year old retired lady, who wants part time work in San Antonio, on the Northeast Side of town.?
I wonder if anyone is hiring, this side of town seems dried up where medical clerical, or any other jobs that can supplement a family income are concerned. I am not interested in full time. I am open to suggestions of any source of honest work. I really appreciate it, I need to help my family financially, and really do not know what to do, or even whats available, I am listed on many web sites, maybe its my age, or that I've been retired for ten years now, but I know I have good working years left in me, I just don't have the means to travel to far from my area, I am interested in the 78218, 28209, 78217, and 78233 zip code areas, and possibly Universal city.

have you tried getting a job in retail? like at northstar mall in one of the stores? i used to work part-time at northstar mall (at foley's) and i was on a on call basis and made decent money. perhaps there is a little store or boutique in those zip code areas where you can apply. good luck!

Lots of people are hiring. The problem is they may think you are going to expect more money than someone younger. Go apply in an area you are good at and are willing to take a dip. I bet retirement homes would to have you work with them. You sound nice and sincere.

walmart or target is great as a part time job. Most clerical or office type settings are going to want you full time.

You would be perfect for Arbonne! And if you think sales isn't for you, think again. I won't say the products sell themselves (although I think they do...); they can't without your asking someone if they've heard about Arbonne. I wish I'd heard about these products 20 years ago -- they are fabulous. The anti-aging line is incredible. You won't believe what it does for you! This is a simple business, but is hard work. The great thing about it is that you can do it on your own time, when you want. No one to answer to. It's empowering to be in control of your own paycheck.
