Volunteer work in san antonio?
I Want to do volunteer work, and for some reason no matter how much i try to look for a volunteer place, i can't find one. I applied for at least 5 different programs and no one has gotten back to me; i dont know if you feel the same but i could be using this time to find a real job where i get payed! does anyone know of an easy volunteer place i can get into or anything information that could be useful ?? please hellpppp !!! You could try at one of these sites http://www.bing.com/search?q=Volunteer+%22san+antonio%22&go=&form=QBRE&qs=n&sk=&sc=3-23 Offhand, finding a "real job" would be a higher priority (at least for me it would be). However, I suspect you have a reason to put community service first. . good luck.

You can expect to apply to up to 25 organizations before you find volunteering. It's a lot like finding a job. The most popular places to volunteer -- Habitat for Humanity, food kitchens, etc. -- often have no placements for many months.
